Howard since the moment you started coming to crafts you made my Tuesday afternoons very happy ones. I enjoyed having a pint with you at the parties and your banter was always on top form. Howard you was such a kind caring gentleman who made so many people laugh. A few of my favourite memories of Howard was when I used to be doing the ironing in the evenings whilst everyone else would be in bed and Howard would make a cup of coffee, put it on the side and say “here you are pest”. Another memorie was when we would go for our daily walks, you would hold the branches of any trees that was over hanging the paths for me to walk past. You will be missed by so many people. Howard you were one in a million. The moment I walked through that door on my first day, I instantly knew how much fun we were going to have together. One of my favourite memories is going to Butlins together, and while we were watching the show on the main stage one of the red coats came down and got you in front of everyone playing the drums! You would still talk about it months and months later. You were so happy. That smile and absolutely infectious laugh will stay with me forever. Howard......where do I start!? It has been an honour and privilege to have supported you! The last 15 years have created some of the best memories I have, from our countless holidays together, the day trips to the Royal Welsh, the music concerts, and of course the pubs!
